Hagen`s Orange Freeze in Carmichael

I went to Hagen's orange freeze to get one of their super-duper special famous orange freeze. This is the closest location they had to the DMV appointment I had. They just opened up at 11 so my timing was perfect. I ordered the largest orange freeze I could get. And it was perfect. They're the only place you can get real fruit freezes. So if you're getting tired of the Icees from 7-Eleven, or regular ice cream you just head on up and visit them for they're freezes. They also serve good hamburgers and french fries there's a whole menu of yummy food to pick from in addition to their freezes. If you go to the website you'll find that they have more than a dozen different flavors of freeze all of them are natural fruit flavored.

My 8oz. ribeye sandwich was a bargain at under $10 and was very tasty! Kid said her burger was just a burger, she will try something different next time... But OMG! The onion rings! Huge portions! We should have split one but honestly... They were even delicious cold. Home run. The strawberry Guava freeze is always a winner. Of you haven't been to Hagen's... What are you waiting for?

Their freezes are amazing. They are deserts similar to a slushie but more solid, with a better texture. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious if you love old timey burgers and fries.

Delta king overnight stay was great. Easy check in and out, very relaxing quiet boat.

Love this place. I grew up on Merlino's so it's nice that this place is carrying on the tradition.

Friendly service, but the food isn't worth the price. The freezes have little flavor and taste more like water than a true freeze. The pulled pork sandwiches were pretty gross. They are mushy sludge like a manwich. The hamburger looked like school cafeteria food and the fries were out of a bag and for $6, I could've bought two bags of fries at my local grocery store. Cute mom and pop looking place so I expected at least something was likely from scratch, but it is all premade garbage. Price is not an issue when you're getting good food. But at $50 for two sandwiches, a burger with nothing on it, 3 freezes and one fry, we expected a little more than McDonalds quality.

Good morning. Hello Hagen’s. The wife and the kids look forward to getting a few scoops soon. This morning me and my wife stopped by to get a few scoops before work a little after 10AM & it was closed. The lights were off and no one was inside, doors locked. There were several other customers that showed up as well. We tried to call to see what time you guys open but the voicemail was full. Had a peach freeze. Was very good and sweet. The large is quite large.

A cute little "hidden" gem. The staff is very friendly. I tried the tuna melt, it needs a little more "flava"... but I would definitely go back and try the other treats.

Great service and atmosphere. Always enjoy supporting the local businesses as YOU should too. This place has some of the best burgers Ive ever had, maybe even THE best. No joke. You have to get one of their freezes also. Soooooo good. The Guava kills it! MMMMMMMMMMM im craving one after writing this now. 🤗

Hagan Orange Freeze people!!!!!! A favorite trip down to this spot in Carmichael, especially during a summer days. What is Orange Freeze? Well it is kind of a sorbet, but not quite. In Sacramento, the locals will compare it to another Sacramento icon called "Merlino's Orange Freeze which in fact is the same receipe. Gotta have it if you are in the area. Pictured are the original Large Orange Freeze, a Small Original and a Large combo (Strawberry, Orange and Large Strawberry, Orange and Pineapple Combo. I find in order to avoid Brain Freeze or Chest Freeze, it is best savor the flavor for a few seconds and then consume it because it is so good and refreshing that it is difficult to slow down.

I love Hagen's. I have been coming here since 2005. There ice treats are super delicious. I just keep coming back to them no matter how long it's been since I have last visited them. Highly recommend any of the Freezes.

Hagan's freezes are the best! The original orange freeze is a popular flavor, but many other flavors to choose from. Lots of ice cream choices as well. If your hungry they have a variety of comfort food burgers, sandwiches,hot dogs, sweet potatoe fries, the place is small and cozy, food does take awhile to prepare and prices are a little high, but still worth it.

Love the mint flavor. They should try chocolate shavings instead of whole chocolate chips.

Kind and courteous staff. Fast service. Good food. I had fond memories of coming as a cold with my grandma and now I am happy to be able to make new memories here with my son too.
